Mentha Impact has entered into a strategic partnership with CORROSION, a pioneer in protecting offshore wind farms and ships against corrosion and marine fouling. CORROSION is a global market leader in the application of ICCP, an environmentally friendly anti-corrosion system for offshore wind turbine foundations. CORROSION has shown strong growth in recent years resulting in a solid global market position. Through this partnership, Mentha Impact and CORROSION aim to further leverage the company’s growth potential while accelerating the transition to more sustainable protection systems in the offshore wind and maritime sectors.

Since 1993, CORROSION has been developing innovative systems to protect wind farms and ships in the most extreme maritime environments. Effective protection against corrosion and marine fouling is crucial, as it extends operational life of wind farms and ships and reduces fuel consumption of ships. In addition, CORROSION provides unique expertise in remote underwater monitoring. This positions CORROSION as a leader in the development and application of innovative and environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional solutions. A recent example is the market introduction of CORROSION’s UV-C system, which protects ship engine coolers against fouling using UV-C light. By actively promoting the adoption of such innovations, the company accelerates sustainability in the sector. Together with Mentha Impact, CORROSION aims to further develop these solutions and implement them on a global scale, thereby driving further international growth.
