Het richt zich daarbij op MKB-ondernemingen met een omzet tussen EUR 5 en 100 miljoen. Het team streeft naar significante en meetbare resultaten op klimaat- en milieu-impact gecombineerd met financieel rendement. Naast de financiering van buy-outs kan het fonds ook groeikapitaal verstrekken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mentha Impact Fund I zal een omvang hebben van EUR 140 miljoen en opereert naast de bestaande buy-out fondsen van Mentha. Het kapitaal komt van particuliere en institutionele investeerders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Mentha Impact Fund I is voor ons een natuurlijke stap in de ontwikkeling van Mentha. Sinds jaar en dag zijn we bezig met de verbetering van duurzaamheid van onze bedrijven en hebben we naast het realiseren van rendement ook nadrukkelijk oog voor mens en planeet\u201d, aldus Edo Pfennings, medeoprichter van Mentha en partner van Mentha Impact. \u201cWe willen onze decennialange ervaring inzetten om ondernemingen die een positieve impact hebben op klimaat en milieu te ondersteunen in snellere groei en uitbreiding naar nieuwe markten.&#8221; Het Mentha Impact team bestaat uit ervaren investeringsprofessionals. Het team is intrinsiek gemotiveerd om private equity in te zetten om \u2018groene\u2019 bedrijven versneld te laten groeien en bedrijven met een \u2018bruin\u2019 businessmodel te ondersteunen in hun transitie naar duurzaamheid.
