Het doel van de investering is om de (internationale) groei van Rapid Circle te versnellen, zowel organisch als door middel van acquisities. Naast uitbreiding in de bestaande markten Nederland, India en Australi\u00eb, gaat Rapid Circle zich richten op het betreden van nieuwe markten waaronder Duitsland, Belgi\u00eb en landen in Zuid-Europa en Azi\u00eb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rapid Circle is in 2008 opgericht door Harold Punter, Wilco Turnhout en Daniel McPherson en helpt bedrijven de overstap te maken naar Microsoft cloud-toepassingen en verzorgt het beheer daarvan. De organisatie heeft inmiddels zo\u2019n 200 medewerkers en kantoren in Amsterdam, Pune en Melbourne. Microsoft schaart het Nederlandse bedrijf tot de belangrijkste partners wereldwijd. In de laatste vijf jaar realiseerde Rapid Circle jaarlijks 30 procent groei en kreeg daarvoor driemaal een FD Gazelle award. Met de kapitaalinjectie van Mentha wil het deze groei versnellen en een wereldwijde speler worden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe zijn ons bedrijf gestart nog voordat de cloud een trend werd en hebben een sterke visie op hoe cloud-technologie bedrijven vooruit kan helpen\u201d, vertelt Harold Punter, CEO van Rapid Circle. \u201cDeze visie blijkt succesvol, ruim 200 organisaties maken inmiddels gebruik van onze diensten om slimmer en effici\u00ebnter te werken. We zijn nu klaar voor de volgende stap om de kansen die we internationaal zien, waaronder de toenemende vraag naar Microsofts cloud-oplossingen, te verzilveren.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Groei door acquisities en verbreding dienstverlening<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De investering van Mentha stelt Rapid Circle in staat op te schalen en een solide groeistrategie uit te rollen. Daarvoor zijn onder meer strategische acquisities gepland van bedrijven met een vergelijkbare focus en organisaties die kunnen zorgen voor een verbreding van het dienstenportfolio. Met dit laatste profiteren ook de bestaande klanten van Rapid Circle. Voor medewerkers betekent de investering en uitbreiding bovendien dat er nieuwe carri\u00e8rekansen ontstaan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De versnelde groei die Rapid Circle voor ogen heeft past bij de huidige marktsituatie waarin de meeste grote organisaties de stap hebben gemaakt naar het cloud-aanbod van Microsoft voor een deel van hun IT-omgeving. Zij breiden deze investeringen uit door ook hun datacenter en werkplekbeheer bij Microsoft onder te brengen. Naast traditionele IT-bedrijven kijken organisaties steeds vaker naar innovatieve partijen als Rapid Circle om hen daarbij te ondersteunen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Haran Sold, partner bij Mentha: \u201cHet belang en de relevantie van Microsoft cloud-oplossingen als een bedrijfskritische infrastructuur en applicatie-omgeving is duidelijker dan ooit.
